As long as I can remember, I have always had a love for the arts.  Growing up I found my passion in and through it and when adult-hood struck, I struggled to find a place where I can live out my passions in the different places in the industry of Entertainment/Art.

 

They say, if you can’t find your place to fit in, create your own. So I did…

‘When I was little’ hahaha, I danced. Yes, almost all forms of dance you could think of, I have tried it.  Through this time, performing on stage and in theatres, I fell in love with all of it.  From planning, choreographing, directing, marketing, opening night, behind the scenes to closing night.  I love working with people, finding that community and meeting new people is definitely one of the perks.  What fuels this passion of mine is looking into the crowd and seeing young and old forgetting about life, being in the moment and experiencing all emotions. 

This makes it ALL worth it!

 

‘Oh makeup, if I can just get my skin to a place where I do not have to wear you’ was something I said once upon a time.  We grow up with this perception that you use makeup to cover up or change you into something prettier or something or someone different.  

It started with a dress up birthday party.  I usually never go big for this type of events, but I decided to change things up and out came the cheetah.  Teaching myself the techniques and having friends ask me for transformations I found a moment of sparkle, a moment of going ‘I really enjoy this’.  It continued to doing girls make up for dances or performances and then further teaching others to do their makeup with what they have or helping them find the correct products for their budget.  Today I am grateful to show others ‘enhancing what is already beautifull ' as my motto and taking it further with my LISOF Makeup Certificate. Makeup does not have to be negative, it can be that extra kick you need for owning your day, giving you that extra confidence to be a boss babe with that strong red lip or a fun night out with the girls flicking those lushes lashes into the night.  It is whatever you want it to be!

 

People, people, people.  Have you ever enjoyed your coffee with some people watching on the side? Who am I kidding, we all have….. right?  Knowing why a person is who he/she is something I find fascinating.  Taking that further and knowing how to communicate to that person is what I enjoy most.  I studied BCom Commination Management at the University of Pretoria learning about all ages of people, researching, finding that target market and the best techniques to communicate to everyone in just one message.

 

DID YOU KNOW – the average attention span of consumers is 3 seconds, content with relevant images gets more views, more consumers would rather watch a video than read about a product, email-marketing increases your reach but over sending can make you lose more than half of your contact list.

 

You will always know my intension behind everything I do.  I am a hardworking person that loves to motivate and cheer others on to be the best and live the best versions of themselves!!
